Do You Want to Work With Us?
The lab is always looking to add to our team. We post research assistant positions on the GWU jobs site, so please check that out if you are looking for a technical job in the lab. Experience with transgenic mice and molecular techniques are a must!
Graduate Students
The lab is currently setting up to handle rotation students, but we are not quite there yet. We will be ready soon though, so if you are interested in rotating please review our current research page and contact Dr. Rodríguez to discuss a potential project in the lab.
Undergraduate Students
Starting in the Spring of 2026, we will be happy to bring in undergrads to support the research base here in the lab. We are currently looking for undergraduates willing to spend 10 hours a week in the lab learning our techniques and supporting our full-time members with routine maintenance, including tissue culture work. We also want to establish our social media profile, so if you have always wanted to help scientists communicate with the non-science community, then please reach out!
Postdoctoral Fellows
If you have an interest in lung pathology and/or experience in some of the assays and techniques that the lab is applying, reach out and talk to Dr. Rodríguez, he is always happy to chat about science. We are looking for new ideas and contributions from a qualified candidate. To be considered for a position please send a cover letter and CV to Dr. Rodríguez.
